The next stop on our travels was to the gorgeous campus of Syracuse University in upstate New York. We are thrilled to say every summer EHS welcomes a solid group of bright ‘Cuse students who are here doing internships to get a head start on their careers.
Founded in 1991, the Tina Press and David Rubin Career Development Center (CDC) in the Newhouse School of Public Communication, offers a comfortable place to research communications careers, find job and internship opportunities and learn how to network.
To date, we have 9 Syracuse students already planning on spending this summer with EHS! We can’t wait to help them get the most out of their time in NYC. In the meantime, we’ll share some of our favorite moments from our visit:
Syracuse takes their team spirit very seriously. We found this colorful bunch in the School of Architecture:
Syracuse alumna Vanessa Williams wore this dress in the 1983 Miss America pageant. It now resides in the Sue Ann Genet Costume Collection and Research Center at Syracuse University along with hundreds of other designer classics:
And here are some more classic designs:
Thanks so much again to all who took time to show us around, and a special shout-out to our Syracuse Campus Ambassador Matt Mazer for spreading the word about EHS when we aren’t on campus.
See you this summer, ‘Cuse!
