This week we made a stop by beautiful Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. We had a great time, thanks again to the staff for being so friendly! Here are some photos we took from our trip…
This was taken in the Business Building. It’s pretty cool how they can make the future business leaders of America feel like they are working on Wall Street!
This was taken in the Quad area. The structure is entitled Endless Circle – symbolizing that a student’s quest for knowledge has no set beginning or end!
We had an amazing time visiting the University of Maryland! We loved meeting the wonderful students and staff, but instead of telling you about it we’ll just let you check out the photos you took and see for yourself…
As you can see, we took in a ton of great sights… a big thanks to everyone who helped show us around! We hope to make a visit again very soon…
The final stop on our visit to Boston was at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (also known as the Museum School or SMFA).
SMFA is an undergraduate and graduate college located in Boston,Massachusetts, dedicated to the visual arts. It is affiliated with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in partnership with Tufts University and Northeastern University. SMFA is a member of theAssociation of Independent Colleges of Art and Design (AICAD) as well as aconsortium of thirty-six leading art schools in the United States.
Here’s a pic of a statue we saw and loved:
Welp, that’s the last of our snowy adventure in Bean Town! We had an amazing trip and can’t wait to see the people we met again soon.
Our visit to Boston College‘s beautiful campus turned into a dog day afternoon.
Say hello to the handsome affenpinscher (a Best in Show 2013), who we met during a stop by the Boston College English department.
In the Fine Arts Department at BC, we discovered these very cool vases. If you look closely, the reptile’s scales are made of coins!
We had a great visit, and look forward to seeing some BC students staying with us in NYC this summer!
We had a great visit at Wentworth Institute of Technology… despite the giant snowdrifts!
Lots of smart staffers and students. Hope some of the students come live with EHS this summer!
While we were in Bean Town, we also made a stop by Bentley University where we met tons of great staffers… and this adorable puppy named Kesar!
Kesar is a four month old puppy being trained as an assistant dog for Canine Companions.
We met Kesar in Bentley University’s Residential Life Office, where he is being sponsored.
It’s easy to see that everyone is doing great work in many areas of life! We had a wonderful visit and can’t wait to make a visit back again soon.
Next we visited Boston University to attend their very successful career fair. Hundreds of students stopped by to start exploring summer internship opportunities, and many were excited to hear about EHS as a housing option if they chose to intern in NYC.
Below is a pic of the George Sherman Union (GSU), which is where the fair was held and also serves as the campus’s “social hub” thanks to a great food court, shopping, a lounge, and more.
We had a great time, and are excited to see some of those familiar BU faces this summer in NYC!
