Our visit to Texas Tech University was very enjoyable! We witnessed southern hospitality at its finest on the campus with several college specific career services offices and academic advisors that are plugged in to students’ plans and goals. It is easy to see why Texas Tech Red Raider students enjoy rankings, awards, and notables such as the following:
Texas Tech earned a top-tier ranking among national universities in the 2011 edition of America’s Best Colleges by U.S. News & World Report.
With 1,839 acres, Texas Tech has the second largest contiguous campus in the United States and is the only school in Texas to house an undergraduate institution, law school, and medical school at the same location.
The Carnegie Foundation classifies Texas Tech as having “high research activity.” Research projects in the areas of epidemiology, pulsed power, grid computing, nanophotonics, and wind energy are among the most prominent at the university.
As you can tell Texas Tech has a lot to be proud of! We had an amazing time and hope to make it back for another visit soon.
