OK, quiz time. Did you know the following facts regarding the success of recent Arizona State University graduates?
ASU ranks 5th on a list of the top universities favored by employers for job recruiting, according to a new survey conducted by the Wall Street Journal that aimed to identify “the majors and schools that best prepare students to land jobs that are satisfying, well-paid and have growth potential.”
Despite an unsteady economy, the majority of ASU’s MBA graduates were hired in 2010. An article on job placement for MBA graduates in U.S. News & World Report says, “Schools like the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, for instance, claim the overwhelming majority of their M.B.A. students were hired in 2010. The school had an 89 percent job placement rate three months after graduation among its May M.B.A. graduates, far outpacing the national average, and up from 78.3 percent in 2009.”
